Tree Agate forms when silica-rich water flows into rock cavities, depositing layers of chalcedony and trapping mineral impurities. Over time, iron and manganese inclusions create the dendritic patterns characteristic of the stone.

Tree Agate's structure is composed of microcrystalline quartz with dendritic inclusions that resemble moss or trees.

Tree Agate is commonly found in India, Brazil, and Madagascar.
