What Is QHHT?

Understanding Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a method of hypnosis developed by Dolores Cannon through decades of research and client work.

QHHT is designed to guide individuals into a deep state of relaxation where they may access memories, experiences, imagery, emotions, and insights that are not normally available during everyday conscious awareness.

Many people seek QHHT to explore questions about life purpose, recurring patterns, relationships, fears, talents, health concerns, or experiences that seem difficult to explain through ordinary means.

How Is QHHT Different From Traditional Hypnosis?

Most people are familiar with stage hypnosis, where volunteers appear to lose control and perform entertaining acts in front of an audience.

QHHT is entirely different.

During a QHHT session:

  • You remain aware of your surroundings.
  • You cannot be forced to do anything against your will.
  • You are able to speak and communicate throughout the process.
  • You remain in control of your choices and actions.

The goal is not entertainment or behavior modification. The goal is exploration and insight.

What Happens During a QHHT Session?

QHHT sessions typically last between four and six hours.

The process begins with an extensive conversation about your life experiences, interests, questions, and goals for the session. This interview often provides important context for the exploration that follows.

You are then guided into a deeply relaxed hypnotic state. While in this state, you may begin describing scenes, experiences, people, locations, emotions, or events that emerge naturally.

Some individuals report experiencing what they believe to be past lives. Others describe receiving symbolic imagery, impressions, or stories that appear meaningful to their current life circumstances.

Every experience is unique.

What Does "Quantum Healing" Mean?

The term "Quantum Healing" reflects Dolores Cannon's belief that individuals can access information from a deeper aspect of consciousness while in hypnosis.

Within QHHT, this deeper awareness is often referred to as the Higher Self, Subconscious, Oversoul, or simply a greater level of consciousness beyond ordinary awareness.

Practitioners and clients may use different terminology depending on their personal beliefs and backgrounds.

During a session, clients may seek insight into:

  • Personal challenges
  • Relationship patterns
  • Life direction
  • Emotional obstacles
  • Spiritual questions
  • Recurring experiences or fears

Do I Have to Believe in Past Lives?

No.

People participate in QHHT from many different perspectives.

Some view the experiences as genuine memories from previous lifetimes.

Others see the material as symbolic expressions of the subconscious mind.

Still others approach the experience with curiosity and an open mind, without needing to decide what is literally true.

A QHHT session does not require adherence to any particular religion, philosophy, or belief system.

What If I Don't See a Past Life?

Not everyone experiences vivid visual scenes.

Some people receive emotions, impressions, symbols, sensations, or simply a strong sense of knowing.

The value of a session is not determined by how dramatic the experience appears. Meaningful insights can emerge in many different ways.

What Can QHHT Help Me Explore?

Clients commonly seek sessions to explore questions such as:

  • Why am I drawn to certain people, places, or historical periods?
  • Why do I repeat the same patterns in relationships?
  • What fears or anxieties seem difficult to explain?
  • What lessons am I currently working through?
  • What direction should I consider in life?
  • Why do certain experiences feel strangely familiar?

While no specific outcome can be guaranteed, many clients report gaining new perspectives and a deeper understanding of themselves.

Important Notes

QHHT is offered as an experiential and exploratory process.

QHHT is not:

  • Medical treatment
  • Psychological counseling
  • Psychotherapy
  • A substitute for professional healthcare
  • A guarantee of healing or specific results

Individual experiences vary, and each session is unique.
